Hunter Thomas

Practical AI for trade and small businesses.

We set up AI that reviews your contracts and changes, learns your workflows and makes your team more efficient. It works inside the apps your team already uses, and a person on your team approves every output.

Request a free first build

No contract. The first build is free. You keep everything we build.

Example. The link opens the full quote, so you can check every line first. Nothing goes out until a person on your team replies.

Also for home Family Assistant: a private AI assistant for your household, with the same rules. Free while we build it. See it →

The difference

One task, before and after.

Before

40 minutes a quote

Written at night, from notes and memory, after the job is done.

After

5 minutes a quote

A two-minute voice memo on site. The AI drafts the quote from your price list. You check it and send it.

Example numbers for one quote. In the walk-through, we measure your own.

How it works

You see it work before you pay for anything.

  1. Walk-through

One hour with you and your team. We find the task that takes the most time. Free.

  2. First build

We automate that one task on your own accounts. Your team uses it for two weeks. Free.

  3. Your decision

Keep it and stop there. Or we build the next tasks and teach your team to manage its AI workforce.

What we build

The AI drafts. Your people decide.

  1. Reviews contracts and changes

The AI reads each contract, change order and revision from every contractor portal you use. It shows what changed and flags risky terms, missing scope and deadlines. You decide what to sign.

  2. Learns your workflows

We teach the AI your price list, your templates and the way your team works. It improves each time your team corrects it.

  3. Optimizes your team

We find where your team loses hours and move that work to AI. Your people spend their time on the work that needs a person.

Common automations

Quotes from a voice memo

Describe the job on site. The AI drafts the quote from your price list.

Daily logs and reports

Two minutes of voice becomes the day's log, with crew, progress and delays.

Subcontractor paperwork

Insurance, licenses, W-9s and lien waivers, tracked. Requests drafted before anything expires.

Invoices and job costs

Each invoice and receipt read, coded to a job and checked against the contract.

One view of all your portals

Contracts, change orders and revisions from Procore, BuildingConnected, Buildertrend and others, in one list. Each change is marked.

Customer messages

Replies to new leads within minutes, and weekly client updates drafted from your logs and photos.

Where it works

It works where your team already talks.

SlackMicrosoft TeamsWhatsAppTelegramText messageEmail

Your whole team gets the information it needs, in the office or in the field. Ask a question from the truck or the desk, and get the answer in seconds.

  • Is the electrical sub's insurance current?
  • What did the owner change in revision 3?
  • Which invoices are more than 30 days past due?
  • When does the window order arrive for the Tumalo job?

Your data

You can see where your data goes.

Each automation is a chain of small steps. Most steps are hands: plain programs that run in your own systems. Some steps use a brain: the AI. Before a brain step, a hand hides the real names. After it, a hand puts them back.

Example data map: tracking subcontractor insurance Six steps run as plain programs in your own systems: read the certificates, check the dates, hide the names, put the names back, approval by the office manager, and the log. One step, drafting the email, runs at the AI company and sees only "Sub A", never a real name. What the AI sees

Sub A. General liability.
Expires Oct 14.
Write a short, polite request
for a new certificate.

No name, no address, no policy number.

What the log says

7:40 Read 38 certificates
7:40 3 expire in the next 30 days
7:41 Drafted 3 emails
7:51 Office manager approved
      and sent 3

Every run, in plain words.

Example: tracking subcontractor insurance. Only the AI step leaves your systems, and it never sees a real name. Each automation you get from us comes with a map like this one.

Cost to run

Cheaper to run than most people think.

Most of the work is the setup, and we do it. After that, the hands cost almost nothing to run. Only the brain steps use AI, and you choose how to pay for it. Either way, you pay the AI company directly, and we add no markup.

Option 1

Your current AI plan

Use the monthly ChatGPT, Claude or other AI plan that you already pay for. Most tasks cost nothing extra, within your plan's limits.

Option 2

About 5–20¢ a task

Pay only for what you use. 200 drafted quotes a month cost about $10–$40. That is less than one hour of office time.

Example numbers. The cost depends on the task and on the AI model you choose. We help you choose the option that fits.

How we work

A person stays in control of every step.

  • You approve every output.Nothing goes to a customer, a subcontractor or a bank until a person on your team approves it.
  • Your accounts, your data. The AI runs in your own accounts, with your own AI model and keys. We look after them. You own them.
  • We do not keep your data.Your files stay in your systems, not ours. We set you up on business AI plans, where the AI company does not train on your data.
  • Stop at any time.End the work whenever you want, and keep everything we built for you.
  • We teach you to manage your AI workforce. Each automation comes with a short guide. Your team learns to check its work, correct it and give it new tasks, without us.
